6:40 PM · parked outside home

Fifteen minutes in the car before you go inside.

The Reset is a journal for days when there's too much going on in your head. You write it down, tear it out, and get on with your evening.

Sound familiar?

9:10 AM

"Can we talk tonight?" Four words. Now you'll think about them all day.

11:30 AM

Your manager sends "quick call?" You start answering questions nobody has asked yet.

8:15 PM

Your mother asks if everything's okay. You say "all good" and ask about dinner.

1:20 AM

You're tired. Your head isn't.

Most of this never gets said out loud. It's not a big deal, so it never feels worth bringing up. And by evening, explaining it to someone feels like more work than just carrying it.

You could keep a diary, but diaries want full sentences and a habit. So it stays in your head, and your head keeps going over it.

You don't need the right words. You need somewhere to put it down.

Meet The Reset

A paper journal for loud days. One reset takes about fifteen minutes and works the same way every time.

  1. Pause. Breathe out a little longer than you breathe in. A few rounds.
  2. Put it down. Find where you feel it. Name it if a word fits. Write whatever is going round, and tear the page out if you want.
  3. Carry on. Pick one small next thing. That's the whole reset.
